byap.ar is an AR-powered marketplace built with Flutter. I developed features that allow sellers to generate 3D models using photos or iPhone LiDAR through photogrammetry. Buyers can view items in their space via ARKit integration for a realistic preview. I handled both frontend and backend (Node.js/Next.js) components, enabling seamless listing, model rendering, and AR experiences. This project showcases my ability to merge mobile, 3D, and AR tech for immersive commerce.

Challenge
Online shoppers often hesitate to buy physical products without seeing them in person, especially when size, fit, or aesthetic matters. Traditional product photos lack spatial context, making it difficult for buyers to imagine items in their environment. Sellers also struggle to create engaging 3D listings without expensive equipment or technical skills.
Objective
To develop byap.ar, an AR-powered marketplace that bridges the gap between digital listings and real-world context. The goal was to enable sellers to easily create 3D models using just photos or iPhone LiDAR (via photogrammetry), and empower buyers to preview products in their own space using ARKit, all inside a seamless mobile-first experience built with Flutter.
Results
byap.ar successfully merged mobile, AR, and 3D commerce into one platform. I implemented both the Flutter frontend and Node.js/Next.js backend, enabling features like 3D model generation, listing management, real-time rendering, and immersive AR previews. Buyers could now make confident decisions through realistic spatial visualization, while sellers enjoyed a frictionless 3D listing process, transforming static e-commerce into an interactive, spatial shopping experience.
